Car is screamin! help! ! PLEASE!!?

I have a 97 ford explorer v6 auto. I got about 112,xxx miles on it and its acting up. To make it short- it seems to making this screamin noise for about two seconds, ive only noticed it when i drive it a little cold, it seems to come from the left side of my dash? and it has also been accelerating weird- when i accelerate my pedal seems to have some restriction and when im going at a constant pace and let off the gas it seems to drag a bit and then when i hit the pedal again the engine feels like it has to like catch up? PLEASE SUGGEST SOMETHING!!!
