How to increase volume of speaker in auto shut off alarm generator project?

try putting an external cone or "horn" around the speaker, that may help increase volume of the speaker and you dont have to mess with the internals........If you want more noticeable improvement, then swap the 8 ohm speaker out for a 4 ohm speaker of the same size...you can get one at any electronics supply store or online.....hope that helps
