Would putting a turbo in my car affect the insurance?

you can install w/e onto your car it shouldn't effect your insurance unless you tell them you want the added things to be covered under your insurance i myself had a turbo civic and my rate stayd the same it was later on that i added aftermarket insurance on to my policy that it went up a lil b/c of the money that was in the car but in the long run trust me it was not worth it.... they only covered up to 2grand in aftermarket coverage which was basiclly just my tires and rims lol so i would say dont get it just rock the turbo your car will still be covered...at the same rate b/c the cover only the base value of the car
